Evans Mechanical honored Rollin Trehearne, a radio disc jockey, with the Bryant® True Hero Award. The award is part of a national program to honor people who have gone above and beyond to make a difference in their communities. True Heroes are those who selflessly devote their lives to serving others.
Trehearne was nominated for this award in recognition of his efforts on behalf of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Every year, Trehearne goes live on the air for 13 hours straight, two days in a row reaching out to the community to raise more than $75,000 for the hospital.
Trehearne was honored with the True Hero Award during a ceremony at the Evans Mechanical showroom. In honor of Trehearne, Evans Mechanical has pledged to donate $2,000 to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
“The Bryant True Hero Award is a way to thank people who go out of their way to help others and positively impact their communities,” said Lisa Townley, brand manager for Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems. “Not often recognized for their efforts, Bryant True Heroes are real people who are making a difference in their communities every day."
